Lic’s, abbreviated for Lloyd’s Ice Cream Shoppes, was established in 1950 in Evansville, Indiana where super premium ice cream was made in the back room of one small retail store.
We believe our customers can taste the difference between frozen, packaged food and fresh, original recipe food. A tremendous amount of preparation goes into serving the tastiest ice cream and deli food in town.
Ice Cream, novelties, milkshakes, and sundaes. We use Lloyd’s Ice Cream Shoppe’s original ice cream recipe from 1950 for classic flavors and creamy texture.
Fresh flavor, original recipe. Lic’s churns it’s own ice cream in downtown Evansville for 9 retail stores.
We prepare fresh ingredients for deli sandwiches, cakes, cookies, simmering our secret recipe chili, and preparing house dressing. All from scratch daily.
Before you wake up, your lunch bread is in the oven. In addition to making ice cream, we bake fresh bread for deli sandwiches, cakes, cookies from scratch, everyday.
When you step into Lics’ Deli & Ice Cream you will notice our heritage and
a bright atmosphere for your event, meeting, lunch or dessert.
Experience our old-fashioned, soda-fountain-style, clean and friendly atmosphere; come say hello.
